Questions about condiments

What does the label have to say on the front?

What’s inside, such as “BBQ Sauce” or “Mustard”, and the net contents line, 12 FL. OZ. (355mL). The Studio adds both and checks them before you order.

Is the label bigger than the hot sauce label?

Yes. Condiments use a 4 × 6 in label, with a wider front and a bigger back panel than the hot sauce label.

Which BBQ sauce is the spiciest?

Spicy Whiskey BBQ and Tequila Pineapple BBQ, both at Heat 2/5. For more heat on the table, the habanero mustards and ketchup run hotter.

Can I order hot sauce and BBQ sauce together?

They are separate orders. Each flavor and design is its own batch, starting at 48 bottles.

Where are the ingredients?

On the panel at the right-hand end of the label, added at bottling with the Nutrition Facts and allergen information. Each flavor’s page shows the ingredient list we have on file.

The line-up

Grouped by what they are, with our heat level (1 to 5) in brackets:

  • Ketchup: Smoky Habanero Ketchup (Heat 3/5).
  • Mustard: Habanero Mustard (Heat 3/5), Chicago Style Mustard (Heat 1/5).
  • Honey Mustard: Habanero Honey Mustard (Heat 3/5).
  • Marinade: Asian BBQ Teriyaki Marinade (Heat 2/5).
  • BBQ Sauce: Spicy Whiskey BBQ (Heat 2/5), Beer Mustard BBQ Sauce (Heat 1/5), Tequila Pineapple BBQ (Heat 2/5).
  • Ranch: Habanero Garlic Ranch (Heat 3/5), Garlic Ghost Ranch (Heat 4/5).
  • Wing Sauce: Cajun Wing Sauce (Heat 2/5).
  • Bloody Mary Mix: Bloody Mary Concentrate (Heat 2/5).

Where condiments fit

Restaurants put a house BBQ or wing sauce on every table; Cajun Wing Sauce and Spicy Whiskey BBQ are natural picks. Couples with a barbecue rehearsal dinner give a BBQ sauce with their names on it. Companies add one to client gifts for the people who grill, and shops stock a mustard or BBQ sauce next to the grilling gear.

Bloody Mary Concentrate is a drink mixer that comes in this bottle: a concentrate you thin with water and add spirits to, for bars that like to mix to their own strength.

Heat

Chicago Style Mustard (Heat 1/5) and Beer Mustard BBQ Sauce (Heat 1/5) are for everyone; Spicy Whiskey BBQ (Heat 2/5) has a gentle kick; the habanero mustards and ketchup (Heat 3/5) bring real heat; Garlic Ghost Ranch (Heat 4/5) is the one for heat fans.

The 4 × 6 in label

The bigger label gives you more room. The front carries the name, your logo, a descriptor that says what’s inside (“BBQ Sauce”, “Mustard”, “Ranch”) and the net contents line, 12 FL. OZ. (355mL); keep the front artwork within about 2.5 inches across. The back panel takes a story, a serving idea, your address or a QR code.

The right-hand panel with the Nutrition Facts, ingredients and allergens, and the producer and lot details is added at bottling so it always matches the sauce.

Ordering

Orders start at 48 bottles, then cases of 24. Every bottle in an order shares one flavor and one label; hot sauce and condiments are separate orders. Orders usually arrive two to four weeks after payment and ship to one US address.
