Holiday client gifts with your logo on a real bottle
Client gifts that get opened at dinner rather than dropped in a drawer: a corporate food gift with your logo, a sauce named after your company or an inside joke, and a note from the team on the back. At 96 bottles, each costs $9.47 delivered, under the $25 business-gift limit. Every order ships to one US address, usually your office, and you hand out or mail the bottles from there.

Good to know
Is a hot sauce client gift tax-deductible?
Business gifts are generally deductible up to $25 per recipient per tax year, and incidental costs such as packaging and mailing generally don’t count toward that limit (IRS Publication 463). At 96 bottles, one costs $9.47 delivered to you. This is not tax advice: confirm with your accountant.
Can you ship a bottle to each client?
Not yet. Each order ships to one US address, usually your office, and you hand out or mail the bottles from there.
How far ahead should we order for December?
By early November for gifts in hands by mid-December. That date leaves five weeks for us, the slow end of our usual two to four weeks plus a spare week, and one more for you to pack and mail before carriers get busy.
Can each bottle carry a different client’s name?
No. Every bottle in a batch shares one label. Put your company and a general thank-you on the label, and personalize with a card or tag.
What logo file works best?
A PNG with a transparent background, large enough to print sharply at its size on the label. The Studio warns you below 300 pixels per inch and blocks the order below 150. SVG files are not supported yet, so export a large PNG.
Can we order hot sauce and BBQ sauce together?
Each product and each design is its own order with its own minimum (48 bottles for hot sauce), and each ships separately. A simple split is a hot sauce for everyone and a smaller second batch of BBQ sauce for clients who grill.
Is hot sauce a good corporate food gift for clients with dietary limits?
Check before you send. The ingredients and allergens are printed on the panel added to every label at bottling, and each flavor’s page lists its ingredients where we have them. For a list with many unknowns, a mild sauce and a card offering a swap is the safer choice.
What if we need more bottles or several delivery addresses?
One order goes up to 4,800 bottles, shipped to one address. For several offices, place one order per office, each with its own 48-bottle minimum. For a bigger order or a date that has to hold, ask us before you order.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Checkout runs through Stripe: pay by card or any other method Stripe offers you, and the receipt comes by email. If your company needs to pay by invoice or purchase order, send a quote request with the quantity and what your accounts team needs, and we’ll reply by email.
Can you rush an order?
Checkout has no rush option. After you pay, printing, bottling and packing take 8–12 business days, then 2–5 business days in transit: usually two to four weeks in all. If the bottles have to arrive by a set date, ask us before you order.
Can a colleague sign off on the label before we order?
Yes. The Studio saves as you work and gives your design its own link: send it to whoever approves the brand, or open the order panel, download the proof PDF and send that. A colleague who opens the link gets their own copy, so your version stays as you left it. Whoever places the order ticks the proof approval at checkout, and nothing is printed until the order is paid.
Who orders these
Whoever owns the client gift list in October: office managers, founders, account leads at agencies and consultancies, contractors thanking the clients who kept them busy, and sales teams saying thanks to their best customers. A list of 48 to a few hundred names suits a batch, because every recipient gets the same bottle and the same thank-you.
Client appreciation gifts don’t have to wait for December either: customer-appreciation weeks, renewals, project wrap-ups and a first year together all work. If the same order also thanks your own staff, one design can cover both; for gifts aimed at the team, see employee appreciation gifts.
Corporate food gifts that get opened
A lot of corporate gifts are things people already own. A bottle of hot sauce is different: it gets opened, put on the table, passed around at dinner and finished. Your logo sits in the recipient’s kitchen for months, and the sauce’s name gives them something to tell whoever asks where it came from.
It also suits a mixed list. Nobody has to wear the right size or match their décor, and a recipient who avoids heat will happily pass it to someone who doesn’t.
Budget per recipient, and the $25 rule
At 96 bottles, one hot sauce costs $9.47 delivered to you, shipping included. Add a 12 oz BBQ sauce as a second batch and the pair comes to about $21.77 per recipient at that quantity. The pricing table on this page shows the per-bottle cost at larger quantities too.
In the US, a business can generally deduct no more than $25 for gifts to each person per tax year, and incidental costs such as packaging and mailing generally don’t count toward that $25 (IRS Publication 463). One bottle comes in under that limit, and the hot-sauce-and-BBQ pair comes in under it. The limit covers everything you give a person in the year, so count any other gifts too. This is general information, not tax advice: check with your accountant.
When to order for Thanksgiving and December
Orders usually take two to four weeks from payment to your office. That range is an estimate, not a delivery date, so these order-by dates carry slack: five weeks for us (the slow end of the range plus a spare week), then one more week for you to pack, write cards and mail or deliver the bottles.
For gifts that go out the week before Thanksgiving, order by early October. For mid-December deliveries, order by early November. Carriers are at their busiest in December, which slows your own mailing as well as ours, so take the earlier date if you can. The order-by planner counts back from your own date.
One address per order: getting bottles to recipients
Each order ships to one US address, usually your office. From there, you can hand bottles out at year-end meetings and client lunches, tuck them into an existing gift box, or mail them with a card. To stock several offices, place one order per office; each is its own batch of at least 48 bottles.
If you mail single bottles, remember they are glass: wrap each one in bubble wrap or use a molded bottle shipper, and fill the empty space in the box. A 5 oz bottle fits in most small gift boxes alongside a card and a snack.
Building a client gift around the bottle
A bottle on its own is a complete gift, but it is also an easy centerpiece for a bigger one. Put together the box yourself, or hand the bottles to the gift company you already use:
- A handwritten card from the account lead, which is where each client’s name belongs, since the label is the same for everyone.
- A second bottle for the clients who grill: a 12 oz BBQ sauce with the same logo, ordered as its own batch.
- Something local from your city: chips, a spice rub, a bag of coffee from the roaster down the street.
- A recipe card on the back panel, or a QR code to a page with three things to put the sauce on.
Getting your logo right
Upload your logo as a PNG with a transparent background. It needs to be sharp at its printed size: the Studio warns you when an image would print below 300 pixels per inch and stops you below 150. Keep the logo and the sauce name within about 2 inches across the front so they stay readable on the curve of the bottle.
Name the sauce after something your clients will recognize: the company, a project you shipped together, the street your office is on. Use the back panel for a short note from the team and your website. The front also needs a descriptor, such as “Hot Sauce”, and the net contents line; the Studio adds both.
One sauce for everyone, or a small range
Every bottle in a batch is the same sauce, so pick for the middle of your list. Cajun Cayenne, a crowd-pleaser, sits at Heat 2/5 and suits almost anyone. Chipotle (Heat 2/5) brings smoke rather than burn. Keep the very hot sauces, such as Garlic Ghost (Heat 4/5), for a list you know well.
For clients who grill, a 12 oz BBQ sauce like Spicy Whiskey BBQ is a strong second item, and a 25 oz Bloody Mary mix works as a brunch gift. Each product and each design is its own batch with its own minimum.
