Designing and ordering
What is the minimum order?
48 bottles, then in cases of 24 — 48, 72, 96 and so on, up to 4,800 bottles per order, for every product. Every bottle in an order gets the same flavor and the same label.
How much does it cost?
The per-bottle price, label included, drops as you order more: 5 oz hot sauces $9.50 at 48, down to $7.25, 12 oz condiments $11.50 at 48, down to $9.25 and 25 oz drink mixers $13.50 at 48, down to $11.25. Shipping is a flat rate by the packed weight of your order, from $39.00, and sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
What can I put my label on?
19 hot sauces in a 5 oz bottle with a 3 × 5 in label, 12 condiments in a 12 oz bottle with a 4 × 6 in label and 6 drink mixers in a 25 oz bottle with a 4 × 6 in label. Pick the product first, then the flavor; the Studio sets up the right label size, bottle and net-contents line for you.
Where is it made?
Every bottle is produced in a licensed commercial kitchen in Colorado and labelled with your design. Fondest designs and sells them, and we look after your order from checkout to delivery.
How do I pay?
Checkout is run by Stripe. Pay by card or any other method Stripe offers you at checkout; we never see or store your full card number. You’ll get an email receipt and a link to follow your order.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States — one address per order, flat-rate shipping by the packed weight of the bottles. We can’t ship outside the US yet.
How long does it take?
Production takes about 8–12 business days after you pay, then 2–5 business days in transit. Your order page shows every step, and you’ll get a tracking number by email as soon as your bottles ship. If you need them by a date, contact us before ordering.
How hot is each flavor?
Every flavor carries our own heat level from 1 to 5, shown like “Heat 3/5 · Hot”: 1 Mild, 2 Medium, 3 Hot, 4 Very Hot, 5 Extreme. It’s our guide to how hot each one tastes, not a lab measurement.
Why can’t I edit the nutrition facts or ingredients?
The right-hand panel of every label is reserved for the Nutrition Facts, the ingredient statement and the lot code. They are printed at bottling from the kitchen’s current recipe so they stay accurate and FDA compliant, which is why the Studio shows a placeholder there and keeps the area locked.
Does my label need to say what’s in the bottle?
Yes. The front needs a product descriptor that says what is in the bottle — “Hot Sauce”, “BBQ Sauce”, “Ranch”, “Bloody Mary Mix” and so on — and the net contents line has to stay on the front: 5.0 FL. OZ. (148mL) on 5 oz hot sauces, 12 FL. OZ. (355mL) on 12 oz condiments and 25 FL. OZ. (750mL) on 25 oz drink mixers. The Studio checks both and adds the descriptor for you in one click.
What images can I upload?
PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF files up to 10 MB — a face, a pet, a logo. For sharp printing, use images with at least 300 pixels per inch at the size they print (about 600 pixels across for a 2-inch logo); the Studio warns you when an image is too small. Only upload images you have the right to use.
How does “Design it with AI” work?
Answer three questions — the name, how hot it is and the vibe — and you get four finished designs to choose from and keep editing. Designs are generated by Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, from our label templates. Your photos are never sent to the AI, and if it is unavailable you still get four designs from our template library.
Will the printed label look like the preview?
The flat preview is drawn by the same renderer that makes the print file. Your label is exported as a print-ready vector PDF, so it stays sharp at any size: every letter is turned into shapes so type stays crisp, colors are set in CMYK (the four inks a press uses), and the art runs past the cut so no white edge shows. Screen colors vary a little from print.
Can I change my design after ordering?
Once your payment goes through, that design is locked so the bottles match what you ordered. Open it again and any changes are saved as a new copy for your next order.
Can I come back to a design later?
Yes. The Studio saves as you work, and the page address changes to your design’s own link. Reopen that link in the same browser to keep editing; opened anywhere else, it starts a copy.
Corporate orders
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Checkout runs through Stripe: pay by card or any other method Stripe offers you, and the receipt comes by email. If your company needs to pay by invoice or purchase order, send a quote request with the quantity and what your accounts team needs, and we’ll reply by email.
Can you ship to several addresses?
Each order ships to one US address, usually your office, and you hand out or mail the bottles from there. To stock several offices, place one order per office; each is its own batch of at least 48 bottles. Mailing single bottles yourself? They’re glass, so wrap each one and fill the empty space in the box.
Can you rush an order?
Checkout has no rush option. After you pay, printing, bottling and packing take 8–12 business days, then 2–5 business days in transit: usually two to four weeks in all. If the bottles have to arrive by a set date, ask us before you order.
Can a colleague sign off on the label before we order?
Yes. The Studio saves as you work and gives your design its own link: send it to whoever approves the brand, or open the order panel, download the proof PDF and send that. A colleague who opens the link gets their own copy, so your version stays as you left it. Whoever places the order ticks the proof approval at checkout, and nothing is printed until the order is paid.
Private label
How does it work for brands?
Design your label in the Studio and save it, then request a wholesale quote with the products and roughly how many bottles: 48 bottles minimum, then cases of 24, at wholesale prices of $6.00 a bottle at 48, down to $4.95 at 480+, plus flat-rate shipping. We reply with your pricing and an invoice; once it’s paid we make the batch and ship the bottles to you, and you sell them however you like.
Do I need a Shopify store?
No. Sell wherever you like: your shop or restaurant, a market booth, events or your own website.
Can you ship single bottles straight to my customers?
Not yet. Every label is produced as a batch (48 bottles minimum), so brands order stock and ship to their own customers.
Whose name is on the bottle?
Your brand owns the front and back panels. The right-hand panel carries the Nutrition Facts, the ingredients and the manufacturing and lot details the FDA requires; it is added at bottling. If you resell, check with us about the “Distributed by” line your market needs.
